And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make. ” - Lennon/McCartney

About Me

My musical prowess began dating back to my youth in the early 1970's.  I learned to play drums and read drum music in the school orchestra and rock band directed by a great music teacher named Jack Neal, who was someone very special.  (Similar to Richard Dreyfuss's character in the "Mr. Holland's Opus" movie.)  I dabbled with playing guitar and piano, but never diligently pursued playing guitar, singing or performing until many years later.

In my early 40's, I was compelled to step it up musically and learn to perform cover songs on guitar and vocals.  In practically no time at all, I got a gig along with a schooled musician friend of mine playing bass and a cocktail set drummer buddy on percussion.

We gigged at small restaurants and parties and soon after that evolved into a four piece rock group that played once a month at a great little pub and restaurant called Think Cafe.  It was always a fun and lively dinner, drinks and dance party for friends, relatives and anyone else to dine, party and listen to some great music.

From there, I wanted to become more than just a cover song musician and singer, so I sat down and began writing an original CD project that was a bold undertaking for someone that had no music theory training or any previous song writing experience.  But, despite that, I soon completed and began producing and recording eleven unique tracks ranging in genres from country rock, to rock, to folk.  I have to say, I'm proud of it considering the little background I had when it was written several years ago.  I've had various people compliment me on each and every song.

My forte is playing solo, performing live vocals and guitar at restaurants, pubs, wineries, private events or parties where I can cover the great classic rock tracks from my life's song book and a taste of my original CD music as well.  I also cover a broad list of many wonderful standards for the older generations to enjoy.

I've performed live solo guitar and vocals at many different and diverse venues, mostly in the Los Angeles area, specifically Palos Verdes and San Pedro.  I was honored to be invited several times to play at Donald Trump's Cafe Pacific Restaurant at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes.  I've also played numerous times at the famous Admiral Risty Restaurant in Rancho Palos Verdes, Think Cafe, Think Prime, The San Franciscan, Trump National Golf Club fundraisers, Rolling Hills Country Club and many others.

I am now scheduling and performing again at local establishments in the San Diego, Temecula, Orange County and Los Angeles areas.  I am also writing, recording and releasing more original tracks in the near future.

Thanks for reading...and listening.  MUSIC IS LIFE!
